Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual, 5th Edition by Steven Bragg

This book is not just about techniques for writing accounting manuals -- I'd have to be a blowhard to do that for 518 pages!  The real value in this book is the zillions of examples, not only for policies and procedures, but also for form templates that cover every corner of the accounting department.  This is a surprisingly popular book.  The main volume is now in its fifth edition.
